Metrics and dashboard
The Overview tab lets you see how your payments are going without opening transactions one by one.
From here you can see how much you are selling, how much recurring revenue you have, how many clients show up as active and which payments need attention.
Revenue
Revenue gives you a snapshot of what has been recorded in TrainerStudio. It helps you get your bearings, but do not always confuse it with the exact money available in your bank.
Between a transaction and the final money there can be fees, taxes, refunds, pending payments, different currencies or Stripe payout times. For exact financial detail, Stripe and your accounting remain the reference.
MRR and ARR
MRR stands for monthly recurring revenue. It is useful if you sell monthly coaching or services charged on a regular basis.
For example, if you have ten clients paying 100 EUR per month, your approximate MRR is 1,000 EUR. This helps you see the stable part of your business, not just one-off transactions. Standalone transactions (those not linked to a recurring product) count towards the month's revenue but not towards MRR.
ARR is the annual projection of that recurring revenue. If your MRR is 1,000 EUR, ARR would be roughly 12,000 EUR. It is not a promise that you will definitely collect that amount; it is a quick way to understand the annual size of your recurring base.
Active clients
Active clients help you separate "clients I have on the platform" from "clients who are paying or have an active transaction with a catalog product".
That way you can tell apart past clients, trial clients and clients who currently have an active transaction.
Payment issues
Issues are the block worth checking most often. This is where failed, past-due or unpaid payments show up.
If you review it every few days, you avoid unpaid charges piling up without you noticing.
When to open Stripe
Use the Overview to review the day-to-day state of your payments. Use Stripe to look at financial detail.
If you want to know whether a client is active, check TrainerStudio. If you want to see a payout to your bank, an exact fee, a dispute or a specific Stripe invoice, open Stripe settings.
With that split you can work day to day from TrainerStudio and open Stripe only when you need to check specific movements.
