Connect Stripe
Connect Stripe before setting up your products and billing plans in Business. In the current version, TrainerStudio needs that connection to create the payments catalog and to generate checkout links.
Stripe is the one that processes card payments and automatic subscriptions. It also handles identity verification, payouts to your bank, disputes, fees and financial details.
Payments by Bizum, cash, bank transfer or external platforms do not go through Stripe. Those payments are recorded as manual payments in TrainerStudio, but they still use the products and billing plans created in Business.
How to connect
From Business, press Connect Stripe. Stripe's onboarding opens so you can fill in your account details. When you finish, you return to TrainerStudio.
Stripe may ask for personal details, business details, a bank account or documents. It depends on the country and on Stripe's requirements. If information is missing, the account may stay in onboarding required or restricted until you complete it.
What changes once it is active
When Stripe is active, you can create products, billing plans, discounts and checkout links. You will also see the Stripe settings button, which opens the Stripe dashboard to review payouts, fees, disputes, invoices or failed cards.
To sell, review transactions and register manual payments, work from Business. Open Stripe only when you need detailed financial information or have to complete verifications.
