The Push Press is a compound exercise that engages multiple muscle groups at once. Stand with your feet shoulder-width apart holding a barbell at your shoulders. Make sure your palms are facing forward. Bend your knees slightly and push off your heels to use your lower body to help lift the barbell overhead. Exhale as you lift the weight. At the top of the motion, your arms should be fully extended, and the bar should be directly above your head. Lower the barbell back down to your shoulders and repeat.
