You do not need to promise unrealistic outcomes. You need to reduce uncertainty: what is included, how progress is reviewed, what support exists and what the client must do next.

Follow-up without sounding desperate
Follow-up works when it is useful. Instead of sending pressure messages, send context: a summary of the goal, a recommended starting point, an answer to a common objection or a simple next step.
